Minneapolis - Southwest

Yet another date night kind of restaurant. The food here is NOT tex-mex, so it tastes closer to authentic Mexican cuisine. The fried green tomatoes are perfect to start off with. The Kansas city ribs and the corn elote were my favorite dishes there. They offer smaller plates so you can try a larger variety of food here. Also, a large selection of great drinks. Again, you will need a reservation.

While I think that almost all pizza is good, I do think the wood fired pizza here at least is very unique in the combinations of toppings they have. I enjoyed their Bianca and Funghi. The scenery is great for date nights as well as a group of friends.

The food here was made so that you can take a bite of only one thing, or 5 all at once, and you will always be happy with the taste. The plantains are a must have, and be sure to try all the sauces they offer. If you come here, get early, as it is always busy.
